Rural Academy
Rural Academy is a border-bridging meeting place for rural inspiration and knowledge development. Workshops and idea exchanges between Finnish and Swedish artists, designers and entrepreneurs in the area of tourism, are important aspects of the work. Guest lecturers from different fields, national and international, meet with the academy’s collected experience, knowledge and wisdom. The Rural Academy includes everything from theory and practice to research where rural and urban perspectives meet and enrich one another. Rural Academy works to develop products and services that have nature as basis, tradition as foundation and man as measure.
