Below we will, as time progresses, add to the list of exciting activities occurring during the summer and autumn of 2009, in tribute to the event of Märkesåret 1809. The participants in Nordic Delight will be organising a range of activities on location where they are situated, but apart from these you are invited to participate in the following events:

June 18 – September 6, 2009

An exhibition with Swedish-Finnish art, design, art-handicrafts, handiwork etc., is to be held in the Nora Brewery (Bryggeriet). In conjunction with this programme activities will be organised.

August 28, 2009

Come and join the sauna festival! Fire up your wood-fired sauna and invite friends, family and neighbours to participate in the common sauna festival with an unforgettable sauna evening. Follow old traditions and create new ones. Let your imagination be the limit with sauna food, sauna music and storytelling! Or why not sauna art and sauna poetry?!
